Maybe life has felt on pause for a while.
You might be tired of repeating the same old patterns, feeling misunderstood, or carrying things you’ve never had space to say out loud. Maybe you’re in a new chapter, but something still feels stuck.
Counselling gives you room to think out loud, be heard without judgement, and start making sense of what’s been keeping you from living the way you actually want to live.
A space to understand, regulate, and begin again.
My approach is integrative and person-centered, which means our work is shaped around you. We might look at old patterns, gently challenge the thoughts keeping you stuck, explore your story, or build tools to help you feel steadier, more supported, and more confident in your voice.
There’s no right way to heal here. We’ll move at your pace, with care, curiosity, and room for whatever healing looks like for you.

Hi! I’m Sarah Farrag
Psychosocial Counsellor SGfB in Geneva, SwitzerlandI’ve always been deeply drawn to people: the stories we carry, the places that shape us, and the moments when we finally feel heard and seen. Growing up Egyptian and Swiss taught me the beauty of diversity and different life paths, but it also showed me how easily people can feel misunderstood, overlooked, or lost between expectations. That’s a big part of why I do this work: to create a space where you don’t have to shrink, perform, or translate yourself to feel understood.
My work is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to be met with care, connection, and compassion. I hold a BA Liberal Studies Psychology from Regent’s University London and a Master’s in Counselling from Webster University Geneva. Before opening my practice, I worked as an intern at both Collège du Léman and ASK (All Special Kids), supporting middle and high school students, as well as neurodivergent students. Those experiences continue to shape the way I show up: with curiosity, presence, and room for you to realise your value and live authentically as yourself.

FAQ
-
Most sessions take place in person at my Geneva office, but online sessions are available upon request. If we meet online, I’ll still join from a private space to support confidentiality.
-
Sessions are 60 minutes and cost 110 CHF. I also offer a sliding scale, so please don’t be afraid to ask about flexibility if cost is a barrier.
-
Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the process. During our consultation and first session, I invite you to ask yourself: Do I feel heard? Do I feel respected? Do I feel like I can gradually open up and be myself?
It’s completely okay if it takes a couple of sessions to know, and it’s also okay if you realise we’re not the right match. My priority is that you find support that fits you, your goals, and your needs.
-
I tailor my approach to each client, because every person is unique and deserves support that actually fits them. My work is rooted in person-centered and integrative counselling, which means we’ll shape the work around you, your pace, and what feels most helpful.
